Judy Bell, the first woman to be president of the United States Golf Association wrote “ if it were not for Ed Wankel, this US Open would never have happened”. Tiger Woods won that OPEN!
Our Expert, Edward Wankel, oversaw the reconstruction of the “Black Course” along with Reese Jones AIA, golf course architect, fondly known as the USGA’s golf course doctor!! He also, oversaw a safety study to ensure that this course was safe for the players as well as the general public.
